Respiratory Therapy
If the CJR patient is admitted from the CJR Hospital to any SNF, the 3 day waiver applies, correct?
A: "If a hospital is in one of the MSAs and is part of a BPCI model 2 program for their LE joint replacement patients, then BPCI takes precedence over CJR. The only way that could change is if the hospital were to withdraw the DRG 469 and 470 patients from the model 2 program. To do this requires that they notify CMS at least 75 days in advance. Following that advance notice period, the hospital would enter mandatory CJR."
